Lab processed temporaries provide a superior aesthetic product with a better wear profile for situations where the temporaries are hightly visible, or they need to be in for an extended period before the final restoration is inserted.  We use a PMMA product that can be fabricated at the diagnostic stage and used as an immediate temporary as soon as the teeth are prepared, with only minimal adjustment.  This innovative product can serve as a diagnostic as well as a lab processed temporary, and leaves the patient with a highly aesthetic substitute immediately in the shape of the final smile while the final crown and bridgework is made.
